Skype Session
In an effort to provide our 1st graders with exposure to diversity, multiculturalism and global understanding, Mrs Lowden, 1st grade teacher and Mrs. González, Technology Specialist, organized a partnership between 1A and a 1st grade class in Pennsylvania, USA. The use of Skype has provided both classes with the opportunity to chat in real-time and discuss the similarities and differences between their classes. Our 1st graders are not only crossing geographical barriers but also building new cultural bridges with technology.
