The American School of Asuncion department of technology is seeking a professional, hardworking and goal oriented individual to fill the position of:
Instructional Technology Assistant
Required Skills:
High skill level in verbal and written English and Spanish
Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
A minimum of 2 years experience in an education or technology field of work
Ability to teach and guide children K-12
Ability to teach and provide assistance to adults in technology
Ability to learn and adapt
Commitment to team work
Strong communications skills
Received training in computers and/or education technology
Positive references indicating success
Ideal candidates will posses:
Bachelors or Associates degree in education, language or technology related field
Experience with yearbook and/or magazine publishing
Experience with photography and photo editing
Experience with community management/social networks
Experience with Photoshop, Corel or related programs
Advanced skills in relation to Microsoft Office and/or other word processing programs
Ability to work independently
Available to travel occasionally and attend instructional technology meetings
Commitment to continued learning and growth
