First Grade Students Host Paraguayan Space Agency Visit

The First Grade at ASA was honored to host a special visit from the Paraguayan Space Agency (AEP) on November 18th.

Five dedicated AEP representatives spent time with the students, providing a fascinating introduction to the world of space and teaching them about natural and artificial satellites.

Following the presentation, the first graders engaged in a hands-on activity, working in teams with the representatives to construct their own artificial satellites. The students named their creations and assigned them missions, with many choosing to design satellites to observe the sun.

This incredible day marks the hopeful beginning of a wonderful and inspiring collaboration between the ASA First Grade students and the Paraguayan Space Agency.

El 18 de noviembre, los alumnos de primer grado del ASA tuvieron el honor de recibir la visita de la Agencia Espacial Paraguaya (AEP)

Cinco representantes de la AEP compartieron tiempo con los alumnos, ofreciéndoles una fascinante introducción al mundo espacial y enseñándoles sobre satélites naturales y artificiales.

Tras la presentación, los alumnos participaron en una actividad práctica, trabajando en equipo con los representantes para construir sus propios satélites artificiales. Los alumnos nombraron sus creaciones y les asignaron misiones; muchos optaron por diseñar satélites para observar el sol.

Este día tan especial marca el inicio de una maravillosa e inspiradora colaboración entre los alumnos de primer grado del ASA y la Agencia Espacial Paraguaya.
