EducationUSA College Fair

The annual EducationUSA South America College Fair made a stopover at ASA on September 4th.

Representatives from more than 10 US colleges and universities shared information about their particular institution with high school students from ASA and several other local schools. Students had the opportunity to learn specific information about the represented institutions, but also were able to gather more general information about the overall admissions process. It was particularly encouraging to hear the number of college-related conversations between students taking place away from the representatives' tables. The buzz of college interest was palpable. Thank you to EducationUSA and to each of the college representatives that traveled so far to be with us!

La feria unversitaria anual de EducationUSA South America estuvo por ASA el pasado 4 de septiembre.

Representantes de más de 10 universidades de los Estados Unidos compartieron infromación a cerca de cada una de sus instituciones con alumnos de secundaria de ASA y de otras instituciones invitadas. Los estudiantes tuvieron la oportunidad de obtener información más específica de las instituciones representadas, y también obtuvieron información en general a cerca del proceso de admisión. Fue especialmente alentador escuchar la cantidad de conversaciones entre estudiantes relacionadas a la universidad que se desarrollaban fuera de las mesas de los representantes. Se podía palpar el "zumbido" del interés universitario. ¡Gracias a EducationUSA y a cada uno de los representantes universitarios que viajaron tan lejos para estar con nostros!
