Community Service Program Visits María Auxiliadora School in Areguá

High School students involved in the Community Service program visited the María Auxiliadora School in Areguá—an institution sponsored by the Fe y Alegría Foundation. The students engaged in sharing games and recreational activities with the children.

Once again, the ASA students gave back to the community through their efforts. The ASA Service-Learning Program is a unique teaching approach that strengthens a sense of citizenship in young people by connecting academic learning with meaningful community service. This pedagogy has been growing in popularity across Latin America, and the ASA program is designed to help students discover and apply their skills to serve others.

Estudiantes de Escuela Superior que participan en el programa de Servicio Comunitario visitaron la Escuela María Auxiliadora en Areguá, una institución patrocinada por la Fundación Fe y Alegría. Los estudiantes compartieron juegos y actividades recreativas con los niños.

Una vez más, los estudiantes del ASA contribuyeron a la comunidad con su esfuerzo. El Programa de Aprendizaje-Servicio de ASA es un enfoque pedagógico único que fortalece el sentido de ciudadanía en los jóvenes al conectar el aprendizaje académico con un servicio comunitario significativo. Esta pedagogía ha ido ganando popularidad en Latinoamérica, y el programa del ASA está diseñado para ayudar a los estudiantes a descubrir y aplicar sus habilidades para servir a los demás.
