ASA Virtual Music Fest

This week the American School of Asuncion hosted the 2nd Annual Virtual Music Fest. This artistic and intellectual event is a collaboration with 5 other international schools in Latin America and Europe, including Colegio Nueva Granada in Colombia and The American School of Paris in France. This event took place virtually from Nov 4th - 6th and there were a limited number of middle and high school students who participated. Students experienced a series of workshops held by professional music educators on topics such as vocal performance, instrument techniques, improvisation, and
orchestrating digital music. 

ASA is proud to be a regional host and leader of artistic, intellectual,and academic virtual events through our partnership with other LACIS schools. These types of events provide a similar community and team-building experience as sports, while also enriching students' lives with diverse and authentic experiences. During semester 2, students will have the option to participate in a Virtual Art Exhibition and a Virtual STEAM Conference. Details will be shared through the bulletin and elective teachers.

Festival de Música Virtual de ASA

sta semana, el Colegio Americano de Asunción acogió el 2º Festival Anual de Música Virtual. Este evento artístico e intelectual es una colaboración con otras 5 escuelas internacionales en América Latina y Europa, incluido el Colegio Nueva Granada en Colombia y The American School of Paris en Francia. Este evento se llevó a cabo virtualmente del 4 al 6 de noviembre y hubo un número limitado de estudiantes de secundaria y preparatoria que participaron. Los estudiantes experimentaron una serie de talleres llevados a cabo por educadores profesionales de música sobre temas como
interpretación vocal, técnicas de instrumentos, improvisación y orquestación de música digital.

ASA se enorgullece de ser un anfitrión regional y líder de eventos virtuales artísticos, intelectuales y académicos a través de nuestra asociación con otras escuelas de LACIS. Este tipo de eventos brindan una experiencia comunitaria y de formación de equipos similar a la de los deportes, al mismo tiempo que enriquecen la vida de los estudiantes con
experiencias diversas y auténticas. Durante el semestre 2, los estudiantes tendrán la opción de participar en una Exposición Virtual de Arte y una Conferencia Virtual STEAM. Los detalles se compartirán a través del boletín y los maestros electivos.
