ASA Represents Paraguay at International Service-Learning Summit in Buenos Aires
We are proud to share that Mr. Antonio Alemán, ASA Community Service and Events Coordinator, recently represented the American School of Asunción in Buenos Aires, Argentina, during the Service-Learning Week (Semana del Aprendizaje y Servicio Solidario). This prestigious international event brought together educators, researchers, and specialists from over 15 countries—including Germany, Brazil, Spain, the U.S., India, Italy, Ukraine, and Paraguay.
Mr. Alemán participated in three key global forums: JIASS (Service-Learning Researchers Conference), REDIBAS Assembly (Ibero-American Service-Learning Network) and the 29th International Service-Learning Seminar.
This experience allows ASA to bring home innovative best practices, strengthen international partnerships, and enrich our Community Service Learning program. It reaffirms our commitment to nurturing "students of the world and for the world"—empowering them to lead, serve, and drive meaningful change in our global community.
Nos llena de orgullo compartir que el Sr. Antonio Alemán, Coordinador de Servicios Comunitarios y Eventos del ASA, recientemente representó al Colegio Americano de Asunción en Buenos Aires, Argentina, durante la Semana del Aprendizaje y Servicio Solidario. Este prestigioso evento internacional reunió a educadores, investigadores y especialistas de más de 15 países, entre ellos Alemania, Brasil, España, Estados Unidos, India, Italia, Ucrania y Paraguay.
El Sr. Alemán participó en tres importantes foros globales: la JIASS (Jornada de Investigadores de Aprendizaje y Servicio Solidario), la Asamblea de la REDIBAS (Red Iberoamericana de Aprendizaje y Servicio Solidario) y el 29.º Seminario Internacional de Aprendizaje y Servicio Solidario.
Esta experiencia le permite al ASA incorporar mejores prácticas e innovaciones, fortalecer alianzas internacionales y enriquecer nuestro programa de Aprendizaje e Intervención Social. Además, reafirma nuestro compromiso de formar "estudiantes del mundo y para el mundo", empoderándolos para liderar, servir e impulsar un cambio significativo en nuestra comunidad global.
