ASA Mental Health Awareness - High School Webinar

ASA will be holding a series of Mental Health Seminars in November and December focused on supporting parents at each of the division levels to navigate mental health challenges brought on by living during the time of  the Covid-19 pandemic. In implementing this series of Mental Health Seminars, there are four goals:
 

- Raising awareness of possible student mental health issues.
- Giving parents strategies to prevent students from falling into patterns that could lead to the development of disorders.
- Providing parents with education around red flags to look for in regard to detecting signs of disorders that may be   developing.
- Reducing the stigmas for parents around seeking counseling, psychological/psychiatric help.

En Noviembre y diciembre, ASA llevará a cabo una serie de Seminarios sobre Salud Mental, enfocados en apoyar a los padres de cada sección para navegar los desafíos de salud mental provocados durante el tiempo de la pandemia
del Covid-19. Tenemos cuatro objetivos al implementar esta serie de Seminarios sobre Salud Mental:
 

- Concienciar sobre posibles problemas de salud mental.
- Proporcionar a los padres estrategias para prevenir que sus hijos caigan en patrones que puedan llevar al desarrollo de trastornos.
- Educar a los padres sobre las señales de alerta que deben buscar con respecto a la detección de señales de trastornos que pueden estar desarrollándose.
- Reducir los estigmas en torno a la búsqueda asesoramiento/ayuda psicológica/psiquiátrica.
