Ana Moreno, MS, LMHC

  A psychotherapist working in South Miami, Florida. Most recently, Ana is the co-founder of Family Recovery Specialists, a program that provides addiction treatment. She has been working in the field of substance abuse for over eleven years in a well established program and served as a senior adolescent counselor and supervisor of the program. Ana has worked extensively with adolescents, young adults, and family members who have been affected by the disease of alcohol and drug addiction. Ms. Moreno also has vast experience in working with the parents of addicted teenagers. Ms. Moreno earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Florida International University and her Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from St. Thomas University. She is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida. Ms. Moreno is a frequent speaker at public and private middle and high schools. Ms. Moreno has been an expert guest on radio and television dealing with the topics of adolescent substance abuse and addiction. She is a member in good standing of the American Counseling Association (ACA).
