An Enriching Experience: Connecting Literature and Contemporary Art

Recently, students from the AP Spanish Literature and Culture class (12th grade) visited the “Arte Actual” art gallery. During the visit, the students explored the captivating “Sobremesa” art exhibit.

The highlight of the experience was meeting the exhibit's creator, Micaela Tardivo (Class of 2016), who is an alumna of the AP Spanish Literature and Culture. She shared her perspectives and inspired the current students to see art and culture from a new perspective.

Definitely, this visit provided the students with the valuable opportunity to interact directly with contemporary art, effectively connecting visual expression with the literary themes and movements they explore in class.

Recientemente, estudiantes de la clase de Literatura y Cultura Española AP (12º grado) visitaron la galería de arte "Arte Actual". Durante la visita, exploraron la cautivadora exposición "Sobremesa".

Lo más destacado de la experiencia fue conocer a la creadora de la exposición, Micaela Tardivo (Promoción 2016), ex alumna del ASA y de la materia AP Literatura y Cultura. Ella compartió sus perspectivas e inspiró a los estudiantes actuales a ver el arte y la cultura desde una nueva perspectiva.

En definitiva, esta visita les brindó la valiosa oportunidad de interactuar directamente con el arte contemporáneo, conectando eficazmente la expresión visual con los temas y movimientos literarios que exploran en clase.
