Reading Week in ASA

We had a blast during Reading Week in ASA Elementary.

Each day included fun activities to celebrate and encourage reading.

Parents and ASA faculty visited all of our elementary classes as guest readers to spend time with us and share their favorite books. We visited the library to read together on pop corn and PJ day, and finished our week with an all day read-a-thon and book fair.

For our read-a-thon, students and teachers dressed as characters from their favorite book, and took turns occupying the chair that their class decorated for the event. During our book fair, local book sellers displayed a great selection of books in English and Spanish, and we provided the latest English language titles from Scholastic Books. We shared so many great memories together this week, and we can't wait until next year!
