Grade 6 Donates Movie Night Money to Japanese Tsunami Relief

Just before the end of the school year, our 6th grade class organized a movie night for charity.  All the proceeds they collected from the event were donated towards the efforts to assist with the relief efforts underway after the recent earthquake/tsunami disaster in Japan. Paula Zubiri, Adriana Gross Brown, Lenia Cereceda and Mayra Toyotoshi represented the class when they took the money and a card signed by all students to the Japanese ambassador on Friday, June 17.  The ambassador has since sent a ASA a thank-you letter.
