Paraguayan Program

Paraguayan Program

The American School of Asunción has double accreditation: by the Ministry of Education and Sciences (MEC) and by AdvancED. These accreditations correspond to Paraguay and the United States of America, respectively. ASA students who graduate from the differentiated and integrated program, who are the majority of the student body, receive the Scientific Bachelor's Degree in Social Sciences (by the MEC) and the High School Diploma (by the USA). This national and international recognition is based on the experience of our Mission and the goal of our institutional Vision.

Regarding local accreditation, the MEC recognizes, through several Resolutions, the school's study plan, its differentiated calendar, and its curriculum. Within the curricular universe, the Paraguayan Studies Program is characterized by the articulation of rigorous study plans.

Finally, the holding of a variety of cultural activities such as concerts, theatrical performances, and conferences with prominent and recognized artists and cultural promoters. These cultural activities provide a unique opportunity for dialogue, analysis, and learning.
