In an effort to provide our 1st graders with exposure to diversity, multiculturalism and global understanding, Mrs Lowden, 1st grade teacher and Mrs. González, Technology Specialist, organized a partnership between 1A and a 1st grade class in Pennsylvania, USA.
As a concluding activity for a unit on George Orwell's dystopian classic 1984, twelfth-grade students were tasked with answering the question: How and why is 1984 relevant for modern audiences?
